Addict Deck - Help!

First off, I'm sorry I started this thread in a wrong spot or anything like that but I have a question. So I just got a whole new set up besides wheels and I put it all together and everything is dialed except the back, my wheel is constantly touching the break on my addict deck (proto grippers) I have tried many things like bending it, moving it over and then tightening it, the other breaks it came with. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the spacers pushing the wheel to the side? But I have no idea so I'm just wondering if anybody else has experienced this or if anybody has some solutions/ or ideas?
Thanks.

Happened to me you just have to fiddle around with the break until it stops rubbing cause often you get it in the right place then when tightening it moves.

Loosen the break, position the brake to where it doesn't rub, then hold it in that position and re tighten, should be fine.

This. You have to hold the break in the position it is when tightening it or IT WILL MOVE and rape your wheels like never before

if you want it higher off the wheel, you can just fold the brake over since its plastic and when it goes back to position, its sitting about 10mm away from the wheel
