I know it really isn't my business what you do with your computer, but I think it should be MANDATORY that you have an AIM account, it makes it so much easier buy/sell things or just to talk. Because let's be honest PMs don't go through and get received very quickly, but the AIM service is Instant Messaging, meaning it's INSTANT, you should get your messages like 1-3 seconds. So just saying, you should make one if you don't already have.

i agree. i hate when im trying to get in contact with someone on SR and have questions or something and then i find out they dont have an AIM screen name. because myspace/SR/and txting feels too slow. nice thread idea man, i hope more people make an aim now.

Every other IM program is a headache.

Get AIM, download Pidgin and your set. Straight up buddy list and IM window with tabs, no ads, no flashy graphics, basic noises, logger and it supports plugins.
