i learned by just speeding into the mini pipe or quarter are w.e it is ,and just smash the coping and u'll get in the air, and tuck it in really well, cuz ive fell a couple times catchin the coping

Yeah, you don't have to lift as much and theres less of a chance of hitting coping.
