Put it on a tripod, F stop down a little, and lower your shutter. Other than that looks alright.

AJ, do you use a D40?.....cuz i'm thinking about getting one for Christmas. My dad has the Rebel xt, with like 6 lenses, so i'm good with lenses but, but is it a good camera?

yea it def worth it and idk if the rebel lenses will fit on a d40. but im not sure
