almost any band fakes their studio stuff, saves time and money, just cause they can play it live doesnt mean they played it in the studio

But really in my opinion on what matters in the end is the finished product. It might be heavily edited but it isn't fake as they have proven time and time again that they can indeed play the songs they write.

i can tell you that the drums on of rings of saturn, or even any other bands in that genre are beyond fake on the record, live yes they can play it but they use programmed drums for the record, infact many bands in many genres do

Sorry, I messed up my wording in my last post. When I said it isn't fake I was meaning that they as a band aren't fake. I am aware that the drums that are recorded in studio were in fact programed drums. But as long as the finished product comes out as brutal as Lugal was, I'm happy with it. I can understand where you're getting at though, you as a drummer, disliking RoS because of the way they record the drums in the studio. But almost everything else is real. I think the main reason I'm drawn to them is the mind-blowing pick-sweeping arpeggios that they've got going on with the 8-string guitars. I think we just listen them in different ways haha

its not even how the drums are recoreded its just how theyre played, nonje of the intruments have any feeling its just like a machine gun sound

Good 8 string guitar playing is hard to come by which is why I appreciate Lucas Mann's (Pretty sure that's his name, too lazy to look it up and make sure) playing so much.
