Alley Cat on a scooter...

Riding through the streets in New York weaving through traffic going mach 10...makes me know it can happen.
Honestly, I think it would be the most fun race ever.

For those who don't know what an alley cat is, it's like a bike messenger race:

Some have checkpoints I guess.
Either way, as long as there's tight traffic and obstacles to get around...it'd be fun.

The one that whoever started this thread posted was crap though.

And it wouldn't work on scooters because A to B races are only good in street (and street is flat and scooters dont go as fast as other junk on flat so bombing stuff doesn't work).

I have been ignoring this thread until now because seeing a cat on a scooter did not really interest me but now that I see what it's all about I just want to say that I would absolutely love for an excuse to go as fast as I can around as many obstacles as I can. I have actually dreamt about having downhill races but I was just under the impression that most kids are too scared to go fast and it would never catch on but if you people are down to bomb some hills I will be there no questions asked... and I will win.

SF is the place to do it btw... but NY would be pretty damn fun to, just not as fast. If you just want some wide open roads to bomb though with no obstacles and pure speed SD is where it's at.
