an ics scs mix

so i was wondering what you guys think of this, i am currently using ics ( lucky smx fork and district AL-2 bars ), if i took a proto scs, cut the slit in my bars, and still ran the ics bolt through the fork so it would reach the bars but tighten the bar on to the scs clamp and then tighten the scs just like any other scs clamp.
give me your opinion on this :)

its kind of like the scooter zone version but with the starnut inside the bars for more strength.

Use a bolt and nut inside the SCS and no starnut. That is how my brother's SCS is and it works great, never has to be tightened.

SCS is probably the strongest compression there is, and why would you pay 70 dollars just to use it as a quad clamp? lol

This is retarded. What is the point? You would have to take off your wheel to tighten compression, add weight with the huge bolt, and have to deal with those shitty starnuts in the bars that nobody likes.
but the bars would be pressed down on to the clamp so it would be stronger in a sence
And no, it would make anything stronger haha.

the thing is that i dont want a starnut in my fork cuz i had one in my fork and it came out in like less then a week and i already had the starnut in my district bars and thats when i switched to ics and its been lasting months. so im ok with the starnut in my bars and i hear that proto's come loose so it would add some extra supporn to my bars

dont use the starnut inside the bars. use the bolt how it was used on the district forks but using an scs clamp, just put a nut on top(2 works even better). ive run it for more than 3 months without adjustment(changed the headset). its way better than starnuts and all you have to do is get the allen key that fits and you are set.
