an idea for scs with french id unpinned

ok this would require an ics and an scs
put the scs on without the compression cap in the middle of the clamp and put the oversized starnut into ur bars
then put the striker compression cap in the bottom of the forks with the bolt going through and tighten it
would this work and stop the fork legs from seperateing?

i dont think so.
but then again what do i know?
honestly it would be alot easier and better just to pin it

i know pinning would work but i reckon that this might work cause if the bolts pulling from the bottom and the scs is pushing down then it should stay tight

no, you guys arent actually thinking about it.
the ics cap rests on the inside of the forktube, not on the part of the fork legs. it would still pull on it and pull it apart.
however, you cuold make it work by putting a really big washer in the bottom of your fork, but then, you would not be able to fit 110 wheels.

Using ICS with an SCS is the biggest waste of time, it just turns your SCS into a clamp with four bolts, not a compression system. And no matter what compression you use, the FrenchID fork with separate (if it is a bad one, that is).
