an old razorchild, where to get wheels and bars?

hey, i'm sorry if this is an annoying question but, i used to scooter a alot a long time ago. i have been trying things lately as i think of them but it seems to me that the stock razor wheels these days are just plain shit. i remember when they used to be hard as rock and last for months, maybe i was just 11 and didn't weigh enough to break them. anyways, where do you guys get the wheels you ride on? also, where can i order those after market bars i see everywhere? i'm really out of the loop and want to get these parts so i can ride for more than 10 minutes at a time again. thanks and hope this finds everyone well.

It's always nice to see people pick up a scooter again.

for wheels, i suggest green machines. they're inline racing wheels, and they're pretty hard. here's a link to buy them: http://www.skate-buys.com/hygrmaspwh.html
for size, i suggest 100 or 104mm.

as for bars, theres the store on this website for probably the strongest bars available at the moment.

theres also http://www.weescooters.com for a different type of bars, but they're a bit on the expensive side due to international shipping and stuff.

wow, you're from long island? is that park you're riding at on long island? i grew up there and go home every now and then. that would be sweet for sure to meet up sometime

google it, discount wheel and skate is a decent site. and you want to get 100mm or 110mm wheels, the harder the better. look in the "wheel review thread" in the scooters section for info about what the best wheel would be for you. and you dont need after market bars, but you can get them either from the scooter resource store or from any of the various other companies that sell them.

No, the bars (Known as Buff Bars) don't get in the way of anything. i've been riding them for over a year, and i love them.

and yes, I'm from Long Island I'm moving to Sarasota, Florida in a week tho.. and no, that park in the picture is all the way up in the Bronx. What part of LI are you from?

im from around glen head area, near glen cove, manhasset, roslyn, ... do you know other scooterers on LI. i remember when me and my friends would show up at parks and have to do triple tailwhip or bigass wall ride on the first hit to quiet everyone down.

haha sh!t dude, that's not too far from me. I live in Plainview. the only other riders i know of on LI are Chris Bendel, and this kid who lives all the way in farmingville.

me and my friends used to have a huge crew when i was in middle school, seriously huge, like 25 kids. they are slowly started to quit though and by high school i was pretty much a lone ranger
