Andrew - New section?

After a reasonably long, and meaningful conversation i've had with Steven T on msn, i believe its about time we got it.
The og ' pro ' section back.
But under a new title (Serious? Mature?) Discussion.

To quote steven T from the conversation :
"With the sport growing so much, and more and more immature little kids coming onto the scene.. Its becoming hard to have a mature serious conversation about the sport"

Just from this quote, and the time you spend on the forum yourself, you'd gather that the sterotypical 'gay scooter kid' aspect comes into play alot.
The sport is growing fast, i and probably many others believe that with a place where the smart, mature and generally older population of the scooter community can come together to discuss the finer details, plan things and just generally talk about how to better the sport we could start to see more genuine progression and a more intellectual form of conversation about significant matters.

This is just something we're putting to you, its your choice whether it happens, but if it does, we're happy to help and support you 100% of the way.

Agreed. If its possible to do, I def. think it should be taken into consideration.

I have always agreed on this and taken it into consideration but you have to remember that it has been tried many times and failed many times. Someone ALWAYS ends up getting their feelings hurt because they are not allowed in a section then they retaliate which ends up usually by someone talking shit on either myself or my website so you have to understand my hesitation. Especially now with this recent onslaught of anti-Andrew/anti-SR uninformed bullshit that is just like asking to hand them more ammo to use against me. I am growing really tired of the scene but as much as I would love to stop logging on to SR I can't because it is my business and my income and deep down somewhere I still care that SR is on the right track because I have spent so much time building it. I wish I could just focus on PROTO and "go ride" but time and time again I find myself snared by these bogus scooter politics. I am tired of having to write essays every time a post just to address everyone's misinformed concerns or to correct the straight up lies and rumors being spread about me. I am passionate about riding scooters and developing the sport but this is not what I signed up for. I am pretty much ready to hand over SR to someone else so I can focus on what I love... building scooters and riding them because I certainly do not love this. If this happens you guys can do whatever the hell you want with SR.

Seriously though, I see what you mean. Kids will support companies based on hasty judgment. Phases like this are bound to happen. They will eventually turn themselves around and realize what's going on. I see SR as the big scootering forum for years to come. I honestly don't think DXG/C4 has a big enough following as it is, to completely over through something like this.

SR's not gonan get "overthrown". it's the Staple of the sport. kids will hate on you andrew, but they'll still be logging ino your site to get all the latest news and information about stuff. even if there's competition, SR is still the main centerpoint of this sport.

Only the team is allowed lol. The team isn't allowed in the admin section, either.

I think it would be nice though, cause I'm always stoked when I talk to mature kids on aim, it's a nice change.
