Yea making forks 12mm bigger is not a big deal at all im just tired of the scooter community not making bigger wheels when it would be better.

Not well enough to keep them in production.

That wasn't it at all. Hep doesn't even ride for Eagle any more, and the 125mm market all but died once aftermarket parts started taking off. Almost no decks or forks fit 125s, so they basically died off.

I really do agree that bigger wheels should be made. If anyone should do it, it's Proto. They already make 125 forks, and could easily make Orions to fit 125s. They would basically be helping themselves out in a transition to bigger wheels: sell 125 wheels, which would sell like crazy because everyone wants Protos, everyone sees how awesome bigger wheels are, the need for a deck that fits bigger wheels grows, and more Orions sell because people want to ride 125s. Profit.

I think 110mm is fine

when you go past that they are more likely to dehub

If hey made the core 120mm and have 5mm of really hard PU tha that would be sick

You need work on your math. That would give you 2.5mm of urethane all around. Either way, 5mm or urethane is still way too little, normal wheels have like 10mm+, which would be 20mm when measuring the diameter.

100mm core with 25mm of urethane would work just fine. That gives you 12.5mm all around, which is around the same as a normal wheel.

yea my friends had his 125mm wheels for like 2 years and they are still perfect. There is nothing wrong with bigger wheels it just makes everything better. I fell again turning my bars to fast and flip over my bars to my belly it sucked.

A niche market is exactly what companies should be looking for. While I'm no big wheel advocate (I've ridden 125s for a year and I don't really notice much of a difference), I bet some company will pick them up someday.

andrew has always planned on making 125mm wheels, he just isnt doing it quite yet. and eagle doesnt make my wheels anymore because i left the team... a while ago lol. you can still buy them at random ass places, ive been trying to push 125mm wheels for so long. ive ridden them longer and more frequently than just about anyone else in the sport, and they are 100x better than 110mm. we just need a company to start making them again.

a pic for y'all :)
