Whats better? Apex SCS (V2) , HIC, Proto SCS or Phoenix SCS (cylinder, not grenade). Theres £5 difference between Phoenix and Proto (Proto is more) but then theres £5 differnece between Proto and Apex (Apex is more). Or should i just stick with my HIC? just because im starting to want different bars and you cant get them in oversized. Also if i took the shim outta SCS could i just use HIC bars (without slits)? Because sometimes i like HIC Bars and sometimes i don't. So yeah which is better?

yes you can use hic bars without the shim in the scs, but youd have to cut them so theres no slit in them. I say out of the scs's get the proto, but ive also got hic and i realy like that almost as much as my scs.

IF you put a lot of wieght on your bars and crack em at the slits then go ahead and use SCS. HIC is really like a simple compression. Not the strongest.

Never had any problems with it and you can easily fix it
Scs i here you have lots of problems and the headset rattles and its hard to keep it dialed

well you're wrong. its actually the complete opposite with hic having problems. i havent had to tighten my scs in 3 months.

id say apex cos its the strongest and longest lasting
but id also say hic cos its cheaper
overall i reckon hic is better value for money

Most of the people from the US (a lot of people from here) haven't ridden the Apex SCS as it's Australian. But IMO it's the nicest SCS out there. But i would also prefer HIC.

if i didnt car about weight i would use a big fat scs, BUT, sadly, i am a "wei-ght-fre-ak". so in my troubles i shall be using ICS or HIC.
