i havent had mine long enough to give an opinion

Pros:

FAST
Smooth
Super Strong Core (SSC POWER!)

Cons:
Click, can be fixed with tape on bearing
Slide out easier than YAKS

Overall so far i think they are great, but the main reason i wanted these wheels so i wouldnt have to buy wheels all the time, and yaks are like gone now, so yea, so far they have been great for me, and the cons are easily outweighed by the pros for me, and i think that i will have a better review in a couple months, after they have been tested for awhile.

1) I honestly don't know what the heck do you do with your scooters that you ovalize those bearing slots.
Stop throwing your scooters around. I really don't understand how they can start clicking. Well as some other older veterans have said, putting micro spacers to the rear wheel will fix the clicking problem so i did that already before putting metalcores to my pro-model deck. That's that.

But why the hell isn't my front wheel clicking then? Once i managed to throw my scooter on a frontflip attempt and it fell right to it's front wheel to concrete from 12-14ft of height. That should have ovalized the bearing slots, yea? No. Instead of it, i bent my SR fork's 5mm thick plate which connects the steerertube to the fork legs.

STILL, metalcores work fine and are silent. Since february: parks, streets, 8+ stairs. Still nothing wrong.

2) Where the hell do you guys ride? On glass? After 6-7 months of riding them in indoor and outdoor parks + street, i just haven't found ANY kind of spot where my wheels would have slipped just once.

i was thinkin about gettin some metal cores and i want to know your opinions to see if they are worth the money =]

Forgot to add.

As for this thread, they are totally worth it. Once you try them, you'll never want plastic cores again.

well kids just pound their bearing into them and not care if the go in staight or not.. what i do is just take your micro wheel (or any wheel for that matter) and put the bearings your going to put in just barely so its just holding them in. then takie 1 more bearing and put a front axel through it. put the axel with the bearing on it against one side and put the tightning bolt on and just clamp the bearing in and the bearing go in perfectly striaght. i hope that made sence.

yes i think metal cores are worth it. and why the fuck did i type this much

As I've had no experience with metalcores, I can't judge, but kkep in mind the $60 buys you about 12 Low Profiles or 6 Hyper Stripes. If you break those easily, then go for it, but if you're a pussy tech dude like me, then no.

changed my answer.
I dont even ride my metal cores anymore, they get so annoying to ride. Not worth the money unless your rich.

The rubber wears down on micros eventually so it's not really the "eternal wheel" everyone has been searching for. I do admit, it is a very high quality wheel that I would love to own (if the price was about 1/4 of what it is)

I can get like 16 Mach II's off of ebay shipped for the price of 2 metalcores and mach 2's are not shabby wheels
