first and foremost, MOGWAI. they are basically the kings of post rock. once you check them out i'd recommend isis, pelican, 65 days of static, this will destroy you, and godspeed! you black emperor.

Dude you should definately check out a band called midnight suit. They are local band from my area but they are awesome. check them on myspace. and also Staple a bit less melodic but still awesome. Staple isn't aroundanymore so finding them might be a bit harder.

greg im looking into to getting into some music, like screamo(fast drumming, guitar) but without the freaking screaming, any surgestions?? i cant stand the screamo

and is there any music out there thats basically the same as simple plan- when im gone. i love that song but i need more of that sort of stuff

also devinitely check out the loved ones, more people should listen to them.

and don't let the fact that fall out boy blew up stop you from listening to take this to your grave, it's a really good album.

Honestly, one of my favorite albums ever.

i wasnt really grouping any of those with simple plan, i was just listing good bands that he should check out lol.

alright band, but not as good as set your goals or four year strong.

Yeah, i know them. Dan Warwick likes them alot.

the only band i know that sounds somewhat similar is The Silversun Pickups.
