Baby death

alright this mate of mine has a baby death and i wanna buy it off him but there is a big scratch on it, do you know of anyways to get it off and how much do you think it would be worth.

Call Century/Sneider Optics or one of their dealers in AUS and ask if the scratch can be polished out otherwise it is worthless.

I got myself banned.
Scratches can't be buffed out. Don't try to use liquid lens filler either. The front element most likely needs to be replaced, and will probably costs almost as much as a new baby death with the labor or so i heard. Put it on your camera and see if the scratch looks bad or not. In TPC VJ7 theres a big ass scratch on the baby death i had and its not really too bad, doesn't look professional but neither does 1 chip camera footage.

pshhh Ive taken my baby death apart so many times. the two little holes in front of the element. take a thumbtack and put it in one of them and unscrew it. the front element will come right off.
