Back when...

I rode awhile before I made an SR account so don't be fooled by my join date haha. Does anyone wish we could go back to when every one had a bolted pro model with some t bars. Back when 20 wide was huge and almost unrideable. When making a scooter "dialed" wasn't even an option. Whne people actually rode part until the broke or rigged something they made at their house just so they could ride. People rode with friends for fun not to try and get sponsored. Sorry for my little rant, but I wish everything went back about maybe 3 years before one piece decks and having a 600 dollar scooter wasn't possible.

why wouldn't you want to have good parts?? I agree with the part about riding for fun, but saying that you wish there weren't good parts for scooters just makes you seem like a douche.

Because people would actually try and fix their scooters not going out and spending 200+ dollars on a deck. Intregrated phoenix can break in about a year - 225 dollars. thats about 5-10 pro models which I think would last a fair bit.

^^ I just enjoyed riding when everyone basically had a razor pro. There wasn't as much drama started as ther is now.

Only reason there is more "drama" is because there are more "riders".

Granted the days of a models was fun, and it's kinda cute to think back to when everything was simple and no one had seen anyone air a scooter before... to actually miss those days. Um. No. I like riding my scooter knowing one of my bolts ain't gonna cut off my leg and my hot glued razor wheels aren't going to just suddenly break in half. Gotta accept progression man.

^^ this, granted I like one piece decks and all and love the popularity our sport is finnaly seeing. Just I don't like some of the riders now and how they treat one another.

^^ of course I know this and accept it. Once again I love the way this sport is changing I just don't like the way the riders treat one another.

2009--> early 2010. Those times were bomb. I miss the people who used to go on here, and how the annoying fuckers and post-whores on here didn't even join SR yet. I also miss the SR Store );
