bar whip

ok so i got my ass whiped at scoot a couple days ago and the dude threw out a bar whip so i decided to work on them i can get the bar but my feet ont stay on the deck and when i comes time to tailwhip i cant kick it hard enough any tips:confused:

Practice late whips, then x-up to whips, then throw your bar, catch it, THEN tailwhip. people try to throw the whip while they barspin, that's how they mess up.

catch the barspins really fast and high so you have as much time as possible to throw the whip.

Personally, I think x-up to whip is more difficult. Practice barspins right as you jump leaving plenty of hangtime, and practice late whips as late as you can. Then just put them together.

I do, too. I never learned them that way, I just started throwing them one day. All my friends say to do x-up late whips first, though, so I threw it in there.

You should man, the only tutorial I've seen for them is Josh Young teaching people how to do them flat. At least, I think it was Josh.
