bar width opinion*

Try for 15 or 16 at first cause those are pretty neutral bar widths. Not too wide and not too skinny. Then you can see if you want wider or are cool with that. Also, ride other people's scooter, but keep in mind that their scooter is gonna ride different than yours for reasons other than bar width.

Dmazz. Order a bar online or go to home depot and buy a steel pipe or something.
yeah i went to my local lowes and they have a bar but its 1" and the bars for buffs are 7/8" so im prolly jus gonna look around for some metal to make another cross bar cause i dont feel like waiting and paying like $30 for a new one

i don't like wide bars, i tried some for fun today, made everything harder. i will probably ride stocks for the majority of my riding career.
they take about 2 weeks to get used to wides from stocks, you'll have all your tricks back in no time.

If you're gonna be riding street, imo 16-18 wides are probably a decent width. For park, I'd say 18-20 imo. Your bars should NEVER GO PAST SHOULDER WIDTH on a scooter though, ever.
dre i was always a mountain bike rider and i had 28 inch wide bmx s&m slam handle bars (nuthing suss there) i ride 20 inch wide and they are like an inch wider then me on each side and i love them it is a matter
of choice there are no set rules.

i have wide ass shoulders but idk i think 20 wide is as wide as my shoulders, but i ride 18's with road bike grip and i like putting my ahnds around 16, it feels nice
