bars becoming unstraight

my clamp is all the way tightened and i have it triple clamped but my 1 peice bars keep becoming unstraight?

go to a bike shop and ask. bring your scoot with you.

Its just a small piece of bendy metal/card or something.
It goes in between your clamp & bars, kinda like a washer for bolts, just provides more tension.

no. DK clamps dont have shims.

oh well i saw some clamp that came with a metal peice inside of it that you can take out and put back in but idk do you tihnk tape will work?

the id of your bars might be to big.. but try the shim first.. if that dont work.. put one on the inside of your bars too. that is what i do for the bars i make.

Aaron just buy the right size clamp on ebay, you need 1 1/4" buy like 2 for $5.

The slit might be too small, so the metal can't bend enough to clamp the bars. I hade to make mine bigger.

the bars are perfect size it fits snug on the fork
