This is how I do them still sometimes. It's kinda the same thing as when you were learning tailwhips, you had to learn to keep the deck under you. You have to keep doing them and keep trying to get your weight over the bars.

The reason people lean back so much on bartwists is because then you don't have to tilt the scooter as much to the side to get the bars around, so it seems a little easier. Just practice tilting the scooter more to get the bars around and keeping your weight over the bars.

Lots of people do this same thing when learning barspins as well, and it's pretty much the same concept.

I bet that helped him so much...

Anyway, yeah. Try throwing them to the side more. Or just as your about to go off the jump, think to yourself, keep your feet on the deck. Keep your feet on the deck. IDK why, but that actually works for me.

AH REALLY keep your feet on the deck for a bartwist??? who knew

i learned them flat, just practice practice practice, just like everything else, there are little tips and whatnot about how to do the trick, but like with any trick the biggest thing is practice

really focus on not moving your feet? idk how you expect us to help you, just keep on practicing. how long have you been trying?

You both suck at trick tips. /argument.

asking for trick tips over the internet is pointless in my opinion. just keep practicing untill you get it or ask someone who can do it at your local to teach you. and if nobody can watch videos. it usually seems like kids try the trick a couple of times then rush on here to figure out why they arent landing it yet. it takes time people, i mean yea i could bartwist flat 3rd try ever but it took me MONTHS to get bri's and front scooter flips. end rant lol

also this isnt directed towards you just a general statement about my opinion

i have been trying for about 3 weeks and it is still happening and well nobody can even get the rotation at my skatepark people think a bartwist is just moving your hand out to the side and then throwing it back
