Bearing idea.

So I was wondering if instead of buying new wheels. Making bearing that font into ovalised wheels. Would it work?

To be honest this is one of the silliest ideas I've ever heard. Wheels don't ovalise exactly the same way every time. It's a better idea to design wheels to be less prone to ovalising.

If you're really really ambitious, you could get bearings that are just slightly larger than your current ones (I mean like custom from a bearing company) and mill your bearing slots out to match. That's the only way I could see this idea working.

caseyhendrix:)

I got myself banned.
they should just make the inside of wheels splinned and the outside of bearing and oversized so you wouldnt have to worry about this? yah?

How would bigger bearings make the wheels any less prone to ovalizing? The bearing slots would still be the same thickness, with the same tolerances for the bearings, and made out of the same material. Thicker axles would be nice though.

because a bigger diameter bearing would spread the weight out better thus less ovalizing, if someone did the 3/8 axles it would be just like bmx and 14mm axles, just have the option for both.
