Bearings

ok there is no threads on bearings so im hear to start one. tell us everything u no about bearings like what are the best , how to clean them etc.

the bearings i prefer are bones reds as they are smooth,durable and quite fast

But it is a few days old. Anyways I use Bones Reds as well. When I clean them I just clean all the dirt shit off with a rag or whatever you have, add a few drops of Speed Cream, then put the bearings back in the wheel and go ride.

Just like Chris Bendel said, soak your bearings in rubbing alchol for about an hour, they ride smoother and faster, I'm riding stock bearing now.

1. get all your bearings
2. take of the red shields with like a razor blade
3. get a cup or something to wash the bearings
4. get some denatured alcohol, gas, brake cleaner something strong that cleans good
5. put the bearings in the cup and shake for about 5 min
6. let them sit for 5 to 10 min in the cup
7. take bearings out and dry them off reall good and it helps to spin them
8. get bearings and put some sort of lube on them
9. get the red shields and put them back on the bearings
10. your done!!!

if you want them to last long get super swiss and get the cleaner stuff and you will be set

there is a lot of stuff about bearings. yak/discount wheel and skate/whatever they are ABEC 7's are the best imo. super fast, strong and awesome
