The first thing that comes into someone mind when they bend something, is too bend it back.
Well, mine anyway.

well it has a slit for a quad clamp and riding a double clamp is leaving an area of the slit open thus causing a weak point in the bars thus causing them to bend.

hmm... well the slit is taller than the clamp on my rads but the fork goes up past it inside, so i think that helps to reinforce it where it would be weak.

so if the slit on slayers goes higher than the fork tube, i could see a potential weak spot, but otherwise i dont think the number of clamps matters. also, i dont think andrew would make that obvious of a design flaw.
