Just got some 3m tape and I've been riding it for a few days. Its amazing. Its grippy dry AND wet, second to pedal pins. Takes a little getting used to, but I can guarantee you'll love it. I cant imagine EVER ruining it. Its super worth it if you can find some. Check your local hardware for "anti slip tape" 4 inch strips fits v2i's and any skinnier deck.

I don't really notice how grippy different makes are on scooters but I could just walk on a skateboard and tell exactly what make it is. The only makes I wont buy are scooter company tape as it just wears out and rips and shocktape, it doesn't really work, it's over-priced, falls apart as soon as you stand on it and it is a pain to get of without leaving the sticky resin on your deck.
