I've been listening to The Color Morale, Our Last Night, August Burns Red, and A Lot Like Birds lately if anyone knows them.

I really can't stand much metal anymore, most of it is just so generic and most of the musical themes are just repeated sooooo much across genres, makes me want to beat myself in the head when I try and force myself to listen to new bands that I think suck after 30 seconds of listening. It's like a big orgy of cousins that just keeps progressively making the concentration of retard in the population rise.

That being said, can someone post up some good metal bands that 1). Aren't generic 2). have absolutely NOTHING to do with pop-punk or techno and 3). are just absolutely brutal and technical. And I mean like virtuoso technical, not Meshuggah technical.
