Best way to cut a brake?

what kind of saw do i use and how do i hold the break down without bending or damaging it?

i cut my break with those skinny small saw leave the brake on the deck take off the wheel and just start cuttin it soft from a angle to get the lines going straight,once that just keep on going...

i sawed mine with a 4 dollar metal hacksaw that i bought at home depot. simplest solution right there

Put a bolt under the brake, between the brake and the deck and tighten it so the brake doesn't move.

Then use a hacksaw or any other saw with a lot of small teeth. I personally like SawZalls.

take the brake off and if you do have one put it under a drop saw for cutting wood. my dad did that for me because aluminium is soft and the wood cutting blade can cut through it easy.

put it in a vice and use a hacksaw, grind the edges off

anyways, if you have access to a band saw, that would be easier, but, if not, just use a hacksaw, a little common sense, and some elbow grease.

hacksaw is preety easyy i cut my break in like 1min and a half
