And this is just to be sure when cutting...this is what the brake looks like now [the person i bought it from ground it, but it wasn't ground for a pro model. So if i grind it to where the line is in the second picture, would that work?

i came across a blade on the original street rebel scooter which my freind had from many years ago and today a filed it with a double bastard and it worked fine
