blade grinding problem

ive been trying to grind this down but it still dont fit when i try to put it throught the bolt and deck it wont let the boly go throught the other side like its sideways or something
also i cant get my spring to fit

Sorry for the bump, but I have to say this. DO NOT bend the spring, just force it in there. You'll regret bending it when your brake rattles like crazy.
I know this from experience.

Dont bend the spring. Just simply turn it around to the opposite way its supposed to be but you will need to grind it more... my brake is now tank 8)

Umm to everyone who is saying "ZoMg D0nt b3nd the spr1ng!!11one".. I bent mine to get it in easier, I fixed the rattling problem by putting RC car tubing on both of the spring ends, and also you can fix it by taping two nickels together with medical tape and then putting them in there. They don't slip at ALL because of the tape. I've been riding my brake with the two nickels for 2 months now, no problems at all and the brake works great.

how to you put the spring in there? I put it in like I thought I was and the brake just flopped over. I tried watching the tutorial and can't understand a word that guy is saying. can someone please help me out.

lol i did the rc car thing ages ago using the fuel lines but eventually in started rattling again, so now i put a chunk of ruber under it, it doesnt make a sound now
