Blazer threaded forks

Are blazer forks any good? I've bent my ultra pro fork (probably cause i ride with pegs) and i need new stronger fork. Or any recommendation? I have threadless headset so i can ride threadless forks too.

Nooooo..... If you are gonna get a new pair of threadless forks, get either Grit or Micro XT's.

Dont go blazer EVER. Made that mistake with my front wheel, and my little brother has there 'T' bars.

My wheel is dehubbing already, after like 5 weeks. And the bars arnt even the right diameter - wouldn't fit a blunt clamp.

For fork aternatives - Micro XT or Blunt S.O.B Threaded.

Are you sure your brother have chromo bar? Alu bars are OS. But is micro XT stronger than ultra pro?

Hell yeah. Micro XT's have a much thicker forktube. I've been running mine for ages.

But i havn't bent my forktube, just the fork part (where the wheel is) and XT doesn't seem any stronger there... Wheel isn't straight but fork is. Reason for that is pegs probably.

That's nothing to do with the fork then, thats the axle. If you are gonna use pegs I suggest getting proper bolts rather than axles.

Yeah, fork legs! That was what i meant So blazer threaded or XT? Both are pretty cheap.

XT. They're cheaper and stronger. The fork legs on XT's are ridiculously thick. I've only ever seen them broken at the fork tube, but that was because they cut them down too much.

Ok, thanks but i just found out i could buy MGP nitro fork... It sounds good, alu fork and its 1 pc and so on... So is MGP good? Better than XT?

xt is cheaper and is hard to bend
but nitro is obv way better

Well you obv need compression for MGP fork because it is threadless. And you can't really have a fork that isn't one piece haha. Just get XT and you'll be good. They are easy to find.

Parrish this guy started the thread because he wants to know what fork to get in general, he didn't have any to compare so it wouldn't belong in the "This or That" thread.
