Blunt and district

ive heard alot about blunt decks and district decks breaking easily. i need more info before i buy either one. which one is better and are they about the same quality as a RUP or better and by how much?

I don't know much about blunts (the decks, that is) but I'd say anythings better than the district.

My reasoning is that if its likely to break your going to save yourself money by not buying it and save yourself a potential nasty bail as well.

Being honest here: if your still in highschool and a RUP is doing you fine your not going to break a District anytime soon. The only reason so many broke the deck is because they marketed it to a large variety of riders. The market isn't big enough for specialty decks quite yet.

I don't feel safe on a District. I would much rather ride a RUP. I weigh 130.
To be honest, I don't like 81.5 HTA, either.
If I were you, I'd get a cool, powdercoated RUP off Inward. Powdercoat on the bottom is like wax time 10009 on a rail or Coping!

alright thanks ill probably stick with the ulltra pro until something happens to it then skip districts and head to a better deck like a phoenix or something

haha true^^^ dpnelson but districts will last you so long. Mine hasn't cracked and I have been off many gnarly stairsets without any problems. I mean, look at Nolan Sorensen, he does huge stuff and his district v2 is still running good. District over Blunt for sure!!
district FTW

Your gonna listen to 2 fricken people on this website? They have done really, really well so far. Yeah, some have broke, but there a hell of alot better than a rup. I have had 2, neither have broken, and i can be sketchy as fuck. Districts are soooo good for what they are made for, they are being used by bigger and more advanced riders than they were even aimed. Just like the guy above me said, nolan shouldve broken his by now, but it hasnt.

They are stronger than they feel. My friend's creaks on transitions. I don't like that hahaha. There are no cracks or bends, but he is a super clean rider.

districts are plenty strong. especially the new dk-2i's. the RUP feels like a toy to me and its HTA sucks, i feel like the bars are always in my gut. i would personally go with a district, the feel of it is soo much better.

RUPs dont really snap, theyre just extremely uncomfortable to ride, districts last, theyre intended for people 120 lbs and under, so for the beating they take theyre pretty good, my 10 year old neighbor that weighs sixty lbs snapped his blunt in 3 months, id say district
