Hey im looking into buying some wheels, I would like them to be light and fast, I heard that blunt was making some new ones made of polycarbonate. Anyone whos got info post it here
Nope, not out at all. They are suppose to be as strong as full metal cores. Personally, I work with polycarbonate and other plastics for hobbies I'm into and I can safely say they may be right. It has almost the same impact and tensile strength as alu. but doesn't weigh as much.
Weight weenie wheels! hopefully they are cheap too.
they just wanna make sure that they're perfect, i had some that weren't the final kind and they did break after some really sketchy/hard landings. BUT they are amazingly light and still fast. not a problem at all getting bearings in/out either.
