BMX style tailwhips..

I was practicing those in 360s today so i could get 360 whip to bars since i have to catch with my front foot to be able to bar after for some reason. But i disagree that they look the best normally, catching with back foot looks sick.

well normally I think back foot/both foot catches look the best on just straight whips, even though corey clement makes his whips look pretty sick and he catches with his front foot. But in spins, catching it with front foot/both feet looks waaaaay better.

Haha yea Dre, Bates was so awesome...and yea sucks that Cary, K Van, Bates, Brabank, and everyone else moved on to Bmx.. But watching the way they rode scooters, you could tell it was only a matter of time.

I spin my whips slow and catch them way out in front of me with my back foot and them pull the deck in. I think that looks really cool.

The only reason BMXers catch front is because the frame is what comes around and you stop it with your foot. Also, if you caught back foot on a bike your pedal would go down way bad, and you'd hit shin so bad. Front foot you can hold you brake on.

plenty of bikers whip with their front and catch with back foot or both feet.. james foster, homan, jared chilko, just to name a few

ehh I guess that would be kinda like a heelwhip/oppo whip though. I dunno though, because I'm just guessing that it would be fairly impossible to do a whip on a bmx and catch back foot (say you ride left foot forward on bmx and tailwhip clockwise and then try to catch it with ur right foot, I'm guessing that would be fairly impossible).
