At my local indoor, we set up this thing, right at the top of a bank, to bonk frontflip. Any tips? Its a relatively steep bank, and we have 2 thin mats.
Honestly, they are one of the easiest things you can do, no joke. Just go really fast, and when you hit it jump, tuck into a ball, and spin. A few days ago I did them over a basicaly flat pyramid, and off of a 1 foot ledge.
Sweet. My friend was trying them (Unfortunately I wasn't there) but he got vid, and I know what he's doing wrong, he didnt tuck at all, so hopefully I just commit, thats what helped me with frontflips on my feet.
Bump because today i had an idea, which is probably very stupid, but any how. If i make a ramp thinger like seen below, black is a peice of plywood blue is just the supports and the red is a peice of wood to bonk off of, do you think it would work. I mean since it wouldnt be onto a pyramid or anything i would half to spin as fast but i think it seems possible.
That's kinda dumb to just build a ramp to do one trick. at XW I just had people sit on this flat rail that I put at the top of a bank.

Yeah I know i just dont have access to a skatepark very often and im not sure if id feel comfortable trying them straight to asphalt at a local street bank
I've actually done that off of smaller and bigger ledges. At my local there is a pyramid that is almost flat, and I used a brick and frontflip tucked it. I'll try to get some video.
