you most likely will most find the steer tube, and if you do it will most likely not be the same material.

its 1 3/8th od and 1 1/8 id

cross bar is 7/8th od and whatever id you want

u get bar ends that go over the end of the bars but dont go inside just a pinch bolt on the outside or you could use the new plug style bar ends that to make fit just smash them with a big persuader (hammer lol)
