DO NOT BUY FROM KOTA SPORTS IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU ORDERED

They are probably the worst retailer in the world (scooterwise)

Haha i rode with kota yesterday he did a fast plant front flip in to a mini ramp was crazy shit

and i ordered from kota sports, took me a month to get my bars but i got em.

And i just get my shit in person from him if i need anything

I'd get the ultra pro with some after market wheels and bearings. I would suggest lucky or eagle sport wheels, and some bones SUPER reds or Bones Swiss bearings

^worry about the wheels and bearings later (i think hes just a beginner and stuff)

get a razor ultra pro lo (im assuming thats what everyone saying ultra pro meant)
its light and strong
the normal razor ultra pro bars are too high btw
ive got a razor ultra pro lo and love it
once he gets better, u can get him new wheels and bars and stuff, but don't worry about that for now

noone laugh at this idea... grit mayhem. they arent the strongest scooters out but it'll hold a twelve year old for many years (depending on how good he is) they are surprisingly light, they dont need any parts replaced. they have the sickest bars ever! the wheels are grit metal cores WICH ARENT THAT BAD! i've ridden them and i ride really harrd and weigh a fair bit. i've only broke 1 (i've owned 4) headset is some bike brand headset. i dont remeber what but i remember it was a good brand plus it is 4.5 wich is more comfy for beginners it has a blunt side deck so you cant smash ur ankles when doing tailwhips wich was my most common stack as a beginner it has good forks too. it is threadless so it is easily dialed and integrated so its easy to modify without all the clutter, what more could u want?!

Hey there. You've come to the right place. I'm just kind of wondering, how did a Mom come across this website?

I would agree with the Crisp Scooter.

It's good since you're in the UK. This scooter looks amazing, and it's better than spending £450.00 on Kota Scooters.

If you want to spend less money, you could grab this for £85.00 with £2.00 shipping. It's a good starter scooter, plus if your son is 12, the bars will fit him good.

Make sure that the scooter says "Razor Ultrapro LO <--" If there is no LO, then the bars will be high in height and most likely won't fit your son, unless you cut them down.

I don't know how good this scooter is, but it's more money than an Ultrapro Lo, but less money than a Crisp.

It comes in 3 colors which is a better selection based on your sons likes, and it's also £170.00.

My son wants a scooter too, he's adamant it should be the MGP Nitro Extreme.

The favourite make at school seems to be the MGP and the Nitro Extreme because it's lightweight.

He wants the stunt pegs and to learn to do tricks, but this will be his first scooter and I want make sure it's right before spending £250.

He'll be 10 years old, but is small for his age approx 132cm.

Any thoughts and advice much appreciated.

why the razor ultra pro?

I don't really know anything about these scooters so would be useful to know and understand the differences and also explain to my son.

At the moment he just has boys at school telling him razors and rubbish and get the mgp, but I think they're just as clueless as me to be honest. I don't want to him to get laughed at for not having the 'in' scooter.
