Okay dude, thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. Look above at my trick list, what are some tricks I can begin to learn? I can fakie forever too. I guess I get my balance from BMX. I will probably catch shit for this, but I do still ride BMX and love it, but you know those days where you dont really wanna ride? And just wanna do something different? I found that with scooters, so I now bring both when I go for a session.

dude i love bmx. i just think scootering is more fun. and in my opinion more original. you should learn 360's, tuck no handers, barspin catches and tailwhip catches. dont do 1 footed manuals, you will get made fun of because its really easy and looks retarded ahahaha. learn to manual with your brake without slowing down too much as you go, basically just manualing without the brake until you start to feel your self going back then put on the brake slowly and softly. it takes some getting used to. also, and alot of people will disagree with me on this one, but you should start getting the rotations for briflips down and start learning those. fingerwhips, 360 tailwhips, 360 barspins, and things like that are things to try every now and again for the fun of it but i'd get the basics dialed in if i was you. get air outs at skateparks good, things like that. i started riding in june, and have been injured since august. so basically i've been riding for 3 months, needless to say i'm not that good. so i can't give you tips on the harder tricks. but you should definately get barspins and tailwhips dialed in and throw them before and after manuals. good luck and sorry for the essay. hahaha

Indeed. I Love BMX, but in my opinion scootering is alot funner. But yeah just get a Ultra Pro. Considering the Fact that you can actually 180 whip and 180 bar, you don't suck major testicles.

I never ever said he WOULD do backflips and inwards did i? The ultra pro is way stronger then the pro model. The reasons: Reinforced fork, Thicker and stronger deck, one piece bars.

The ultra pro is good value for a beginner. And will last a long time if you take care of it and stuff.

So you wanna go dissin me? I never wanted to start i fight, all i was saying was that a bolted crossbar is pointless. Your better off getting a better scooter that will last him longer than to get him a scooter which isnt as strong and you have to spend more money on it to make it half decent.

So shut your mouth and get YOUR FACTS right first.

Thanks for all the help man! My tailwhips and barspins are dialed pretty nicely. I cant 360 flat, i get 270 and pivot on my brakes. I will begin working on manuals as well. I also can not hop very high, whats the best way to get them higher?

its refreshing to see a new guy not being a dick to the ogs
*not saying i am one*

Well...I am a very respected member on www.vitalbmx.com and I have the most post of all time on that website. I know what its like when noobs come in and disrespect the senior members, so when I go on a website without a whole lot of knowledge about the sport, I try to learn, not to ack like a know it all.

Well actually, I worked on my scooter today, and did some modifications. So I think I will save my money, and ride that for a while, making sure its something I really like, before buying a new one.

good do that. and go to a materials shop and get some tubing the right size for the bars, i dont remember off the top what that is.. somebody help me?

Okay thank you for helping me out. It just seems I would be better off with bigger bars. In no way did I mean 20+ inch wide bars. Razor Pro it is then! Is that one I can pick up at a local Walmart, or would I have to order one?

AMAZON.COM it is the cheapest for a pro model

I have a complete scooter for sale if you want it.
It has:
21" high 17" wide bars(buffs)
razor pro
ultra pro reinforced forks
pro wheels
bolted on brake(like a tsi if you've ever seen one)
that's pretty much it.
I'd sell for like $110 bucks if you want it.
I'll post pics if you say you wanna see em.
