Thanks Jon but it is true though cali kids have one style only, 3/4 lengths, pads and a helmet. massive flips, enormous airs, just stuff that is hard to learn but easy to do once learnt, riding street takes real skill and dedication to master, when riding park most lines are pretty much all set up for you, but when riding street you make your own lines and it is so fun just being creative with your riding, I bet its more fun to have a sick, clean street run, than do a massive 360 bri flip, or flipwhip etc.

how do you know EVERY person in cali does that?have you ever been there?dident think so.
please name me 15 people in cal that do that.

and i went to socal a few weekends ago and rode La Habra, Fullerton, Diamond Bar, Chino and some Corona park and i dident see 1 persone wareing pads.

i just hate hearing people bagging on cali when only a few people do that shit.
edit: i was talking about the pads and shit.

So inaccurate....
Ive converted a few kids from the knee pad thing, and there will be a few more street vids from socal not just from me.
plus there is only a handful of kids that do the knee pad shorts and helmet thing.

The current California budget crisis might just be the best thing that ever happened to scooters. San Diego County has officially laid off all city paid skatepark employees. All SD parks are now open to the public and unattended which means no one to kick scooters out. To my knowledge all park employees have been laid off statewide but I do not know that for a fact. I just rode the new Del Mar park and Ocean Beach park which was totally awesome IMO.

SD is now officially where it's at.
