Dylan, your starting to become an asshole man. That's not cool dude. These kids devote their lives to scootering. Even Caprons mother started a whole scooter shirt company to help support the sport man. Also, who cares if they want to wear a helmet. I never wear one but I encourage others to wear one because one day shit will happen. Just because they wear plaid shorts with knee pads and helmet doesn't make them dumb or anything. That's how the style is in SoCal man. You don't know how much these kids influenced the scooter community in California. These kids may not be "cool" to you but they just ride for fun and they are very, very good.

Also, if your going to hate on Cali kids, hate on the SoCal kids. Nobody has any right to shit on NorCal.

we ride street more than anyone... Scooters are ALL of our primary forms of transportation. we literally ride EVERYWHERE & everything. we dont ride a spot, hop in a car, and go to another spot. we ride a spot, ride TO the next spot, and then ride that spot.

most cali kids have NEVER ridden with other people besides capron and raymond and all them and have never thought about style or taking off their beloved kneepads

aight heres my opinions. nor cal is different than so cal. yhettt a sh!t load of peeeps at my local all do the SAME CRAP. very annoying. i am lucky enuf to ride with some steezy-Aszs peeps such as ostrom and la porte. I TRY to be different. and i can guarantee NO ONE in my town rides like i do. im known to own everybody in my town and flat and technical riding (besides la porte and ostrom)

but there are some people that ride differently, near me besides them and you will be seeing a good video coming from all my locals i guarantee you that. I currently ride a lot more street than i used too also.

there are MANY reasons for the lack of street in cali.for me the main reason is cops. before i rode any street i was downtown just strolling with a friend0not scootering0 and a cop pulled me over FOR NOT HAVING A HELMET... i got a citation and next time it happens i get to go to court and do communty service or 100 bucks. FUKCKK CALI

still i have recently said IDGAF and im riding street anyways and have found some sick spots. and i am encouraging my friend to ride street with me even tho he kILLS parks were throwing some street in his vid also

Not that many riders, west coast, mid west, east coast know what REAL street is, street isn't some little spot down the street from your house that you go to when your bored. This my friends is what some real street looks like, skater build stuff, places that aren't a 3 min ride from your house, this is street.

Now this is coming from me being a skateboarder and hanging out with skaters and going to spots. I think AZ is the next thing to Cali riders because I think Jon, Addy and Alex are the only people out here who ride real street, everyone else goes park hoping. I refuse to shoot park photos unless it something gnarly. So pretty much Tommy is right, get out there and start being legit, don't wear a helmet, do something new! Go ride street, don't be like everyone else.

There are a lot of spots in So Cal, last time I was out there I went to a lot of them I didn't get kicked out once.

thats is so true. except for a bunch of those scooyork guys and the guys from new jersey can ride street pretty freaking good

there are so many hidden gems in cali though i rode with tristin the other day and that mother fucker is damn good at street, he was doing this huge 6 flat 6. what im trying to say is there are so many hidden riders who just shred up street all day cuz thats all they have and what they only know
