camera being funky

so i filmed my friend off a ledge when i watched it on sony vegas 11 it did this funny thing i dont really know what it is called but i dont know how to fix it this also happens on sony vegas 8 too me.

what happens is when i go and press the right arrow key to go through the different frames it will jump back a 2 frames then go forwards 4 randomly but when i render the video it doesnt appear in the video it is not a huge problem but does anybody know how to fix it

It's your editing software not your camera.

it didnt do this when i had vista and i recently upgraded too windows 7 if that might have anything to do with it and also do you have any idea how to fix it?

You should see a dropdown box above where you watch the clip that says "Draft". Click that and change it to "Best". That should fix it.

i tried that still no fix anything else that might work? also it just did this today the side of the screen went kinda blocky and greay then went back to normal on the preview box of the video



EDIT: it appears at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpfS_Z_2Xck&feature=youtu.be 10 seconds in the video and if you watch it all you will probably notice how at the beggining of some clips it shows a flash of the end of the clip this wasnt happening when i made this thread but this is a new problem
