Camp WoodWard, (west, PA and CA, all camps)

Hello, I was wondering whether the Woodward camps includes somewhere to actually stay and if they let scooter riders in for the week also?

If someone could help me out that would be great as I am considering going over there after I have competed my GCSE's, (these are fairly important exams you do before you go to college or you get a full time job for those of you who don't know)

Help me :)

Well its woodward CAMP, duh, its obvious that there's a place to stay. From what I heard they dont let scooters in (anyone remembers the Scooters in Woodward petition?), even tho RVM2 was taped in Woodward West.
The PointX camp lets scooters in, and from what I heard RealRide skatepark also makes some sort of a scooter camp.

You need to stop being sarcastic with everyone, the main question was do they let scooter riders camp over. Although I thank you for the help, just chill on the flame his ass till there is no hair approach.

EDIT: OK, so if anyone knows of any good camps that will let a scooter rider stay for the week could you please post them down, also, as I will be coming by plane from amercia, if they are close to an airport or offer travel to the camp from the airport will be much easier.

I got myself banned.
No scooter camp or scooter riding in Woodward. If your lucky, you can go for skatebaording or somthing and maybe ride your scooter when your in there on your own time, but most people get told they can't ride their scoot when they are.

I don't see why you can't ride scooters there, bikes are alowed and they do more damage than scooters, but I guess it's just their decision.

dude realride is a fatty hunk of shit now, and theres no where to stay. i think, and all the wood is torn up and you will get tetness(or however u spell it) if you fall. like i did when i busted my chin open there

yea thats wat i dont get.. i think its just a vandena against scooter riders... the fact that everyone hates them is the reason they dont let them in... the indoor park near me doesn't let scooters in either becos they dont hav 'insurance, and scootering is too "dangerous"' its the worst excuse ive ever heard

haha, the indoor park near me says its because scooters have a different flow, and its more metal that doesnt bend, and they dont have insurance...psh

OK, so I have been on the realride skatepark site and they do camps for scoots, but everyone here is saying not to go their, and that I might come home with some kind of disease..... I would like to go to california as their is a heap of scooter riders there, which is all good. Any other places you know of? And can anyone comment on what point x is like?

Point X is awsome. Sign up for a skate camp and bring your scooter. If you are serious you really need to get on it because sessions start in less then 2 months which means most of the spots are probably almost full. I will be working out there all Summer helping with the camp and riding. The more interest they get from you guys about scooters the more likely it will be that they will start a scooter session (not this summer but summer 07 if they get enough people interested). If you are serious email them ASAP and request all the info and let them know you ride scooters and ask what they recommend.

ha sik i wish we had scooter camps in AUS that would be sik maby me and the manly team should organise one some time down the track

yea i had a couple of friends that went to woodward an d tehy bought tehre scooter and when they try to ride it on tehre FREE time, "ur aloud to do whatever" and tehy still say get off the scooter and all.
