can any1 give me tips( things not to do) when flipping a spine

Idk about flipping anything but I remember Terry telling a kid to push forward on the spine, not to land on top of it in a thread exactly like this one ages ago.

people should stop posting in here unless tehy can actually flip a spine.

ive never flipped a real legit spine, but im sure i could do that one, with mellower ones just pop off the coping and tuck, make sure you have a good amount of speed. You cant be afraid of flipping a little slower, becuase with spines like that its like flipping kickers. just pad up and once you try it once youll figure out how much faster or slower you need to rotate.

NOTE: for bigger/steeper spines, i cant help you

flip, rotate slower because the transition requires slower spinning, spot your landing, try not to land in the flats.

im no pro at it, but as long as you commit youshould be ok. anddd if you try it, bail out a copule times first and get your rotation spin down first and adjust to the spine <3.

wear a helmet.

um get ahold of john radtke
he can do it everytime and he taught jason beggs how to flip one.
ill tell him to post in here
haha

It depends if you flip really far or if you dont flip far at all if i had my first two attempts you would see it makes a huge difference first one i landed completly flat i tried it a year later and couldnt flip far enough and i shin cased btw it was a six foot spine i can flip like 3 or 4 spines now

If you flip far pull up and look and slow your rotation down If you flip short you have to push foward a tini bit and commit look for you landing

Hope that helps
