Can HIC Compression Be Made by Buying a Proto Shim and startnut and top cap?

look at my thread i made yesterday, its called ncs ( new compression system) it can me made by buying a shim, top cap, bolt, and a quad clamp

Yeah obviously I wasn't talking about SCS. I was talking about HIC.

Im thinking I could use a Proto Shim and starnut and top cap to make a HIC.

No because theproto shim has an Inner Diameter of 1 1/4" and an Outer Diameter of 1 3/8" a HIC shim has an ID of 1 1/8" and an OD of 1 1/4".
