I bought a Baotian 49 cc, for about 500$. I had a minor accident and since then there has been some problems. It is REALLY loud, possibly a problem with the exhaust not mounted properly on the engine, but Im not knowledgeable about this. The electric start is really slow in the morning but okay after that. Today I experienced stalling after the traffic lights. It would also stall when I was turning and letting go of the gas. Prior to this it would sometimes make a banging noise when I deaccelerated and then gassed up again.
I was thinking about repairing it come January, but now I wonder if it will be too expensive. I googled that it might be a valve issue, but like I wrote, I know nothing of these.
What Im hoping for is that it will be less noisy after a repair and that it will run smoothly.
Can this be fixed or am I looking at the end for this scooter.
