Can anyone on this site be serious at all, ever? He had a question and only one of you gave him a real answer, you all just had to be the "funny" ones. It's not really that funny, js.

Yes you can change griptape, it's the same as a skateboard just cut the griptape so it fits your deck.

Oh and next time dude, don't make a thread like this in the "General Discussion" section; there's a section under the "Scooters" section that has to do with decks, post it there.

i got a razor ultra pro deck and the grip tape sucks,i was wondering if you can take the old one off and put a new one on.

How long have you had the deck? Cos I think the razor ultra pro standard grip tape is rather good, I mean Mine's lasted like 6 weeks. And grips fine...

And yes you can change it.

Yeahh, i was thinking that too.. It's like OMG A MOD NOW WE GOTTA GET OUR ACT TOGETHER. No, just don't be an idiot haha plus it's not like I'm always right, even though this is kinda something you can't really answer wrong - you know it or you don't, and I'm pretty sure 99% of the members on here, and people in general could figure out that yes you can change griptape, but maybe this dude doesn't? So ya know, just give him the right answer and move on.
I don't want people sucking up to well, anyone. Especially not me, it's just that there's so many threads I see that an educated answer or opinion could be given, but the person just tries to be "funny" or "cool" and it's just unnecessary. And stupid.

One last time just to get it straight, yes you can change griptape. On .. pretty much anything, including a scooter deck of course. You can change almost ANYTHING on a scooter, except stuff like putting new urethane on wheels or something.

Like I said, next time if you have a question specifically about a scooter/scooter part, put it in here: http://www.scooterresource.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=23
There's Subforums too, I'd say put something like this in the Decks/Brakes section.
