Can you raw the core of protos(anodized)

sand paper and good chunk of time and you should be able to, havent rawed anything but it seems pretty straight forward, just have to work to get the sides of the spokes

i think if it can eat off a layer of aluminum it will probably fuck up you urethane

No, you'll be fine, just use sandpaper.

why would it? its aluminum buddy, doesn't rust

Use oven cleaner, it takes the anodize right off with out leaving any marks on the core from sanding. It doesn't do anything to the urethane because over cleaner is made not to destroy the rubber seals in ovens. I rawed my friends proto grippers this way and hes been riding them ever since, no problems.

what i did to me eagles is used oven cleaner, i then got two seized bearings in the wheel and put and axle through them and put it in a drill press so it would spin very fast, then used 400, 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper, then used aluminium polish and now they are so shiny i can see my reflection in them and they look so sick

Sandblast them, works great.
