I tried looking it up on google but could find a good source so im gonna ask you is a a sealed headset with cartridge bearings or does it use normal bearing rings?

I can find replacement bearings for S2 and S3 but im not sure if those will fit S1.

The thing with replacement parts is that they cost almost as much as a new headset so I would recommend buying a new headset instead.

Just contact Cane Creek. S3 bearings should fit in an S1 as the only difference between the headsets are the cups are made of different materials.

well today i went to grease up my headset and the bottom bearing, you could actually see the ball bearings inside it, it was wierd.

^ Happened to me on the top bearing of my integrated headset. The angled inner part of the bearing actually came off and was stuck to the compression ring. Maybe yours got stuck to your crown race.
