My mom is sending me her camera from college in the mail, the t70, and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.

the camera(especially with a film camera) doesn't affect the outcome of the photo its almost 90% the lens and the type of film you use. Aslong as the camera is in good shape it should be fine

Film is really awesome and it's sad that people here can't really appreciate it since they have these t2i's that take mediocre photos in auto mode.

If you think about it though it really isn't that expensive. It's easy to develop. If you buy a new DSLR that's around a thousand dollars. You could get a stockpile of film for the same price.
