I think im going to change my mind and look for VX2000, they seem to be better and i think ill be happier with it for longer. But im confused about the firewire cable Joe you siad i want a fire wire cable not firewire to usb wouldnt the firewire to usb be easier becasue i dont have to install a port.

it destroys the video quality when you use a usb to firewire. so the best thing is to get a card bus or whatever and use that

oh ok whats a Card Bus?

Edit: i just looked at them. Idk if my Dad wants me taking apart our Desktop haha, but there was a way to do it on a laptop and i needed a external PCI, the firewire card, and a Hi Fi cable. Im going to look into it more.
