run atleast 6 gauge wire if ur running 500 watts or more so u can just upgrade without switching wire. if u want a clear sound go with 10 inch subs so much more smooth not so sloppy. anything with JLW will make your car bounce down the road

Sony Explod sucks haha..I would change the head unit when you get subs.

its actually not that bad bro, its one of the newer ones, like you can pop the front of it off to put in cds which i think is pretty cool, and try telling that to my friend, his dumbass bought the sony explod speakers, i was like omg, hahah he might as well not have boughten speakers

Definitely not. If you plan on going bigger and getting 12" subs, you're going to need at least 4 gauge no matter what the amperage is. 6 gauge is just gonna melt, or fry. And if you want real good ----- Pioneers or Kenwoods. After that would be Kickers or MTXs.

As for head units, get a pioneer. They're $130 in Best Buy, and $50 online if you look hard enough. They pump out amperage, unlike Kenwood head units, which is what most people get.

If you're looking for a good wiring kit, Menace and Kenwood make good ones. Kenwood's more pricy and Menace is like.. $30.
