so i just found out my grandpa has tons of carbon fiber should i make the worlds first carbon fiber complete and its reallly light but expensive so should i do it or no

Carbon Fibre isn't a metal, it's a plastic.
And military stealth planes are made of it because they don't need to be able to withstand multiple impacts... They're planes. If you crash it, it's done. Scooters are the exact opposite in this case. And carbon fibre is also very flexible, making it probably ride like crap.

Because the metal roll cage withstands the crash..not the material covering it. You ever seen a nascar crash? The body is destroyed.

Like said above, the metal cage protecting the driver would never be made out of carbon fibre. Everything else may be, but nothing protecting the racer from impacts would be made of it.

Carbon fiber has an outer coating that strengthens it up. Once you scratch that coating deep enough it weakens the carbon firber. This leads to a shatter. I have carbon bars and fork on my downhill bike. The reason it can is because the shocks absorb most of the pressure applied to them. Unless your scooter has decent travel suspension and you don't grind I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you want carbon fiber stuck in your leg.

well your right carbon wouldnt be very good but iam looking for very verylight metal what metal would be good me and my grandpa are great with metals we built parts for a 58 chevy vette
